Roles and Responsibilities
Role
- To follow the rules and regulations laid down by the Savitribai Phule Pune University pertaining to examination and evaluation work.
- College Examination Officer will work as Custodian during the Theory exams of the Savitribai Phule Pune University.
- To deliver a high quality examination and assessment system i.e. efficient, fair and accessible.
Responsibilities
- Guide the exam section to conduct the University exams smoothly as per the regulations by the University.
- The execution of the work related to various circulars received from the University within the time limit.
- To guide/orient the students appearing for University exams.
- To monitor the financial support received from the university and the expenditure incurred thereof and to submit the audited report to the University time to time.
- Monitoring the exam stationeries received from the university and records of its use and to submit the report of the same to University.
- Report the malpractices during the examination if any to the University.
- To guide and monitor the conduction of practical and theory exams as per the schedule of University exams.
- To execute the orders/circulars received from the Controller of Exams (SPPU) on time and take necessary actions.
- To determine procedures for the conduct and supervision of examinations.
- To designate responsibilities to all the college staff for examination related works.
- Allot the assessment work to the respective teachers.
- Print the examination question papers and provide examination materials for college level examination.
- Determine procedures to enable the review and appeal for the results of examinations at the request of candidates.
- To notify the graduate and post graduate students about filling the convocation form and conducting the Convocation Ceremony.
