CARMELITES OF MARY IMMACULATE (CMI) the first indigenous religious congregation of India with a membership of over3000, renders its service to humanity in education, social, health care and other activities aiming at the integral development of the society. Christ CollegePune was established by CMI congregation which has a strong legacy of imparting holistic education in the primary, secondary and tertiary sectors in India. CMI congregation is managing more than 800 educational institutions including a university. The institution is inspired by the founder of CMI congregation St Kurikose Elias Chavara who has a pioneer in the reformation of Kerala in 19th century primarily through his vision and initiatives in the field of education. Christ College Pune, a Christian minority institution, secular in its outlook, came into existence in the academic year 2007 – 2008. The college is affiliated to the Savitribai Phule Pune University and Accredited by NAAC with B+ grade. The college offers BA, B.Com, B.Sc. (Computer Science) B.Sc, BBA, BBA (IB), BBA (CA), M.Com and M.Sc (Computer Science) programs.
