On the 17th of August 2023, Christ College Pune, Department of Management, hosted a seminar titled "The Supply Chain Management of Mumbai Dabbawala". The seminar was aimed at providing undergraduate students with insights into the renowned and efficient supply chain system of Mumbai's Dabbawalas. Mr. Ritesh Andhre, the spokesperson of Nutan Mumbai Tiffin Box Supplier Charity Trust, graciously consented to be the resource person for the event.
Throughout the session, Mr. Andhre engaged the audience with real-life anecdotes and statistics providing a comprehensive understanding of how the Dabbawalas manage to deliver over 200,000 lunch boxes across Mumbai with remarkable precision and accuracy.
