BA Economics at CHRIST College-Pune provides the students with a broad educational experience that allows them to pursue varied professions. The course facilitates application of knowledge in solving, analysing and exploring real life situations. The program is a blend of theoretical knowledge of the subject along with application of the same. The students are introduced to the fundamentals of quantitative economics, project based teaching along with research aptitude

1. Visit the official website of Christ College and check the eligibility criteria for the course you are interested in

 

2. Fill out the online enquiry form with all the necessary details and submit it along with the required documents

 

3. After the submission of the online enquiry form, an email will be sent from the college for further rounds of the admission process, which will commence from 1st week of May 2023. If in case, you do not receive an email you can visit the college office during the working hours

 

4. If shortlisted, you will be called for an interview and counselling session. This will be done to assess your subject knowledge, attitude, and general knowledge

 

5. You will have to collect the admission form, from the college office

 

6. The counselling session will be conducted to help you choose the right course based on your interests and career aspirations

 

7. After the counselling and sessions with the subject experts, you will be called for an interview with the Principal of the college. (It is mandatory for the candidate to be accompanied by their Parents/ Guardian)

 

8. The final selection will be informed shortly

 

9. If you are selected you will need to pay the college fees to secure your seat in the

college

 

10. You will also need to submit all the necessary documents as per the college's requirements

BA Economics at Christ College-Pune provides students with a diverse educational experience that allows them to pursue different careers. The course makes it easier to put the information to use by solving, examining, and investigating real-life problems. The curriculum combines theoretical knowledge of the subject with practical practice.

The students are introduced to the principles of quantitative economics, project-based Instruction, and research aptitude.

The course lasts three years full-time, is divided into six semesters, and has 132 credits. A Key

Applied Excel, Applied Statistics and Econometrics, Policy Making, Data Analysis, and Data Visualization are the areas of expertise given. Our students will be encouraged to establish careers as economists, investment bankers, economic analysts, data analysts, bureaucrats, and research analysts.

Undergraduates studying economics at Christ College Economics can gain knowledge of economic theories and practices while also trying to perfect their analytical writing and employability abilities.
