The Centre with full time professional counsellors helps all students in the holistic development of their personality. It facilitates the development of remedial systems for students whose inadequate motivational factors have kept them away from achieving their potential. Students can approach the counsellors for solace with any problems.

The Centre also concentrates on students who do not perform well in their exams and are irregular for the classes.

The Centre for Counselling & Health Services (CCHS) is a student support service functioning under the Director of Student Services. CCHS has two wings:

• Counselling and mentoring support
• Basic health services, medical first aid

Role

• The Centre aims at helping students to make proper adjustments in academic pursuit and pursue holistic development in alignment with the Vision, Mission, and Core Values of the institution.
• The counsellors motivate students to excel in their academic and cocurricular activities. They oversee performance and engagement levels to provide suitable and timely guidance when required.
• The services provided by the Centre is a professional activity wherein the counsellors strive to create a safe, non-judgemental, and congenial atmosphere for the benefit of students. The Centre has also created a calendar of activities to promote healthy behaviours and positive living skills.
