It is with immense pleasure that I welcome you to the academic year 2013-'14 at Christ College, Pune. Founded on the educational vision of Blessed Kuriakose Elias Chavara, a great visionary and pioneer in the field of education, social reform and culture, Christ College is rooted in rich tradition. Having founded the first Catholic Sanskrit School in 1846, Blessed Chavara’s efforts ensured that people from all walks of life, had access to higher education.
